Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive outbound calls to generate new sales, cross-selling, and upsell to both new and existing customers. This role utilizes CRM tools and data-driven insights to engage customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions. A key focus is on achieving sales targets, enhancing customer relationships, and collaborating with the retail sales team to ensure seamless sales experience.

Essential Job Functions

 Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Proactive Outbound Sales Calls:
    • Initiate outbound calls to new and existing customers to drive net new sales, cross-sells, and upsells.
  • Cross-Selling & Upselling:
    • Identify customer needs and recommend relevant products and services to maximize sales revenue.
  • Win-Back Initiatives:
    • Implement targeted campaigns to re-engage previous customers and recover lost accounts.
  • Lead Qualification:
    • Assess and quality leads, ensuring they align with company sales objectives and customer needs.
  • Sales Target Achievement:
    • Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance metrics.        

Customer Relationship Management

  • Personalized Customer Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing solutions that add value.
  • CRM Utilization:
    • Use CRM tools to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Follow-Up & Retention:
    • Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Customer Needs Assessment:
    • Gather insights on customer pain points and market trends to refine sales strategies.

Collaboration with Sales & Support Teams

  • Alignment with Retail Sales:
    • Coordinate with retail sales teams to ensure seamless customer experience and avoid conflicts in outreach.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Provide feedback to leadership on customer preferences, competitive intelligence, and potential market opportunities.
  • Cross Departmental Coordination:
    • Work closely with customer service and marketing teams to enhance sales efforts.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Sales Data Analysis:
    • Monitor sales metrics and generate reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Pipeline Management:
    • Maintain an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and deal closures.
  • Performance Reviews:
    • Participate in regular coaching and performance evaluations to enhance sales techniques and productivity.

    • Strong understanding of inside sales strategies with a proven ability to close deals.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Experience using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and sales engagement tools.

    • Ability to handle rejection, adjust sales approaches, and thrive in a dynamic sales setting.

Education and Experience-

  • Professional Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, tele sales, or a related role with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Education:
    • High school diploma required; relevant degree or professional training preferred.
